Some simple guidelines
Never approach a wild or loose animal.
Always ask permission before approaching, touching, or taking a picture of an animal.
If you do decide to pet an animal, approach slowly and cautiously, allowing the animal to sniff you before petting.
Be very cautions of animals who looks tense, stiff, or begin to growl. If this occurs, do not proceed with meeting the animal.
Avoid startling animals by not touching them while sleeping, with their offspring, or around food.
Do not enter property to meet an animal without being accompanied by the owner of the animal.
Do not reach through barriers such as fences or kennels to touch animals.
Take a photo from a distance if you feel the situation is not safe.
